All HCSA Referees are USSF Certified                                              

HCSA is always looking for adults and teenagers to work as referees. If you are interested in earning extra money and you are over the age of 13, please contact our Referee Assignor, Tim Hopkin at thopkin@hendersoncountync.org

Classes are offered in both the winter and summer.


Game Day Procedures for all Referees

Please arrive 30 minutes before your first match.  Wear your uniform, bring a whistle, a watch with a functioning stopwatch feature and any food or drink you may need to get you through the day.  You must let our referee assignor know if you will not be able to work your assigned matches. E-mail our assignor Tim Hopkin at thopkin@hendersoncountync.org or better yet, call him at 828.674.9782 as soon as you know you have a conflict with a scheduled match.


If you are refereeing a Challenge or Classic Match, please remember to sign the match report with both coaches at the end of the game. Classic matches must also be verified online through the www.ncsoccer.org  website.
